SAP EDI Consultant required for a freelance mission based in Grenoble with a hybrid working model (2 days onsite / 3 days remote). The consultant will support the implementation of digital solutions across Europe, ensuring technical consistency, integration, performance, and alignment with best practices across domains and IT tools.
Acting as a technical bridge between Business Process Owners (BPOs), Functional Experts, and Digital Implementation Teams, the consultant will support process definition, regional rollouts, testing activities, cutover execution, and solution deployment within an international SAP environment.
• Define and manage system configuration requirements in collaboration with the Delivery Factory
• Support the implementation and integration of EDI solutions within the SAP ecosystem
• Advise stakeholders on system extensibility, interfaces, and data mapping requirements
• Ensure technical consistency and alignment across digital solutions and IT tools
• Coordinate testing activities, including defect identification and resolution
• Support cutover planning, execution, and transition to business operations
• Collaborate with Business Process Owners, Functional Experts, and project teams throughout the implementation lifecycle
• Contribute to regional rollout activities across multiple European business entities
• Ensure adherence to technical standards, governance, and best practices
• Support seamless transition from implementation to operational teams
• Strong technical background in IT systems integration and configuration management
• Experience working with EDI solutions within SAP environments
• SAP Public Cloud experience preferred
• Alternatively, strong SAP S/4HANA experience with proven involvement in SAP Core Model rollout projects
• Experience with testing, defect resolution, and cutover coordination
• Strong understanding of data mapping and system integration concepts
• Experience working within complex international project environments
• Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders
• Autonomous, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset
• Fluent English required
